Ledge Creek -
Basic Installation - Walls & Borders
It is a good idea to map out your project before you start to dig. This can be done by simply using a garden hose or string line and a can a spray paint.
Dig a shallow trench 6 inches deep by 12 inches wide. Be sure to call your utility companies before you dig so you don’t cut through any wires!
Add a couple of inches of sand to your trench. This will make the leveling process much easier.
To avoid any settling later on, be sure to tamp down the sand before you lay the first course of units.
When burying the first course of units, it is very important to level them from front-to-back and side-to-side.
Place the next course of units centered over the two units below and continue until your wall is complete. Make sure your wall is not taller than 24 inches.
